What better way to start this year's festivities than by joining around 1,400 other "Santas" for a 4.5k walk/jog/run around the City of London?
On 4 December, thirteen people from Amber River’s central team joined in the fun, appropriately fuelled by their choice of tipple, in aid of Refuge.
The route, which started and finished in Paternoster Square, took in views along the Thames and across the City, passing iconic locations including the Globe Theatre and St. Paul’s Cathedral.
With the help of our generous colleagues we raised £260 for Refuge – the UK’s largest specialist domestic abuse organisation. It supports over 26,000 women each year through its refuges and community services, and over 50,000 people access its National Domestic Abuse Helpline website each year.
We look forward to taking part again in 2025, and inviting more colleagues from across the country to don their Santa suits and join in!
