Promoting financial wellbeing can make a real difference to the lives of your employees – and make for a happier, more productive workforce.
A study carried out by the Centre for Economics and Business Research and Aegon in October 2023 [Financial-Wellbeing-2023.pdf (cebr.com)] showed the proportion of both full-time and part-time employees missing work due to financial concerns had risen to 12%. On average, employers lost just under five workdays per year, per employee, a not inconsiderable drain on your resources.
If you’re looking to enhance your employee wellbeing programme, you may want to make use of our in-house surgeries, either as a stand alone exercise or as part of an Employee Benefits package. Our existing business partners have found they’re viewed as valuable employee benefits.
We'll bring our expertise to you
Hosted at your premises, these informal sessions allow your employees to speak with a qualified independent financial adviser, one-on-one, about their financial questions. Topics are driven by attendees but typically include:
- Pension planning
- Financial goals
- Major life changes
- What could happen if they became unable to work
- Investing for the future
What are the benefits?
Providing financial help to your employees will help promote financial wellness in your workplace, at minimal direct cost to you. Offering these sessions will also improve your employee engagement and corporate culture which has obvious benefits to you as an employer and can help support your efforts to attract and retain the best talent.
Offering these surgeries in the workplace makes it easy for employees to access professional financial advice rather than having to take time off.
