David began his nearly forty-year career in financial services as an administrator for an investment firm before joining BRB (now part of Amber River True Bearing) in 1986 and working his way up to being a financial adviser and Associate Director. He now has over 30 years of experience as an Independent Financial Adviser. One of the first in the country to achieve the AFPC, now called the Dip (PFS), David has always been a keen proponent of qualifications within the industry.

David finds the most enjoyable part of being an IFA is helping people solve financial problems, realise what they have and linking this to what they actually want to achieve from life, whether this is financial, lifestyle goals or just enjoying themselves. He goes the extra mile by helping them in areas that they may not understand, often acting as devil’s advocate by challenging their thought processes.

Originally from Kent, David has lived in Stoke on Trent for 38 years and his hobbies include walking with his dog Bryn. He is also a keen rugby supporter and F1 fan, having attended numerous Grand Prix around the world over the last twenty years.
