Wayne has worked in financial services since 1998, qualifying as a financial adviser in 2000. After becoming an independent financial adviser in 2003, he worked for national firms across Leeds, Sheffield, and Nottingham.
In 2009 Wayne joined his colleague Neil Huntington at the fledgling Huntington Ross, helping to build that firm over the following 17 years into a well-regarded independent practice.
Wayne achieved Chartered Financial Planner status in 2017, enabling him to provide a greater level of expertise to his clients.
In 2026 Huntington Ross became part of Amber River Leodis Wealth, giving clients the benefits of support from an organisation with greater scale - including deeper compliance and regulatory support, and better service - while retaining personal relationships.
Outside of work, Wayne enjoys his twin interest of cycling and travel, by riding bikes wherever he is in the world. Closer to home he enjoys walking his dogs and spending time with his family.
