Amber River HDA has seen some new faces join the team across adviser support, and compliance to aid the continued growth of the business across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire.
Reena Gohil, Compliance Assistant
I work within the Compliance team, helping to ensure Amber River HDA meets FCA regulatory requirements, while supporting our advisers to deliver the best possible outcomes and service for our clients.
I have over 12 years’ experience in financial services compliance, including roles in Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Quality Assurance, Complaints Handling and Vulnerability.
I love travelling whenever I get the chance, a highlight was doing a skydive in Thailand. In my spare time, I like watching true crime documentaries or reading motivational and empowering books.
David Cole, Paraplanner
My role is to provide research, technical analysis, and recommendation reports to advisers. I also help clients with any questions or queries they might have when the recommendations are being implemented or considered.
I have worked in financial services for more than 25 years; I have worked on small investments through to cases in the tens of millions. My approach is always the same, helping clients achieve their hopes and dreams.
I’m a member of Archery GB and shoot at my local club, I also enjoy metal detecting and magnet fishing when the weather allows.
Rob Pullen, Adviser Support
I provide administrative, operational, and customer service support to our financial advisers so they can deliver advice efficiently and ensure a high standard of service to our clients
I have previously worked for Zurich and Scottish Widows in financial administration. In my last role, I supported two financial advisers, responsible for managing administrative tasks, coordinating client communications, and helping ensure the advisers could deliver an efficient, high-quality service to their clients.
My quirky fact is that whatever the weather, I will cycle to work.
Max Booth, Apprentice, Adviser Support
Working within adviser support, I am in correspondence with the clients making sure they get the best service possible. I send out reports and gather information from providers to help the paraplanners.
Having completed work experience with Amber River HDA, earlier in the year, I am now doing an apprenticeship, which blends studying and working.
To relax after work, I enjoy taking part in boxing and mixed martial Arts (MMA). I also like to travel and had a great opportunity to visit South Korea with the Scouts.
