Celebrating a landmark 40 years in business
At the weekend Amber River HDA, Cheltenham based financial planners, celebrated a milestone, 40 years in business. I think most would agree that’s quite an achievement. So, to mark this occasion we hosted a garden party at the elegant Ellenborough Park in the glorious sunshine.
Supporting the CRDA
We chose to use this celebration to raise awareness and donations for our chosen charity Cotswold Riding For the Disabled (CRDA) and the fantastic work they do, and we did this with the help of our special guest Rosie the pony.
Fun and games
The Amber River HDA team, together with some of our long-standing clients and families, enjoyed the fun and frustrations of fairground stalls…knocking a coconut off its stand is harder than it looks!
We were entertained with music from the talented Mark Walby and people were amazed at the sleight of hand of the fantastic Richard Parsons’ close up magic.
Tales to be told
One of the best parts of the day were the stories from clients from across the years and the generations, with such warmth of feeling towards the team. I saw genuine friendships built over time, cemented on trust and understanding. I met clients who’d been there from the start, whose children are now clients and planning their futures with their own children in mind. Such intergenerational trust in our advisors says so much about what we do.
I’ve been humbled, entertained and most of all I came away feeling proud to be working for a company who genuinely puts their clients at the heart of what they do.
