Ed has been working in financial services for over 20 years after graduating with a degree in Financial Services, joining a local independent financial planning firm (Barrington Jarvis Ltd) in 2004 which is now part of Amber River Midlands. During this time, he has progressed from administrator, to technical support, and then to financial planner. He is a Chartered Financial Planner and Fellow of the Personal Finance Society, their highest professional accolade.
Ed enjoys helping clients solve their own unique financial conundrums as well as devising financial plans to achieve their goals as they evolve over time and make a positive impact on their lives. He can advise on all aspects of investment, pensions, and inheritance tax planning.
Outside of work, Ed enjoys spending time with his family and, when time permits, enjoys playing football as well as pretty much any outdoors activity, such as hill walking, mountain biking, climbing, snowboarding, and (more recently) kayaking.
