On the 4th of May 2024, Adam Ferdinandi from Amber River Chancery took on his first ever Hyrox event to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Hyrox is a global fitness challenge combining eight functional workouts — including sled pulls and sandbag lunges — with 1km runs between each station. It’s a true test of endurance and strength, and also a fantastic platform for fundraising.
Adam chose to support Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity close to many of our hearts. As well as motivating him to push through training and complete the race, it was a meaningful way to give back. Macmillan provides essential care and support to millions of people affected by cancer every year, and it’s a great privilege to contribute to their work.
We’re incredibly proud of Adam’s achievement and are sure this won’t be the last challenge he or the Amber River Chancery team take on in support of such important charities.
