A financial adviser since 1997, Kristan joined Amber River True Bearing from one of the UK’s largest advisory firms citing a desire to return to a company which encourages advisers to adopt a more personal and local approach with clients.

The vast majority of Kristan’s clients have been with him for a number of years. He has a passion for looking after their financial planning needs through whatever twists and turns their lives take, and to help them build, protect, enjoy and ultimately pass on the wealth they have worked hard to save. He particularly enjoys employing his tax-planning experience to help clients minimise their tax burden, always with the emphasis on simplicity and safety.

Additionally, Kristan has a great deal of experience working both with and within accountancy firms and recognises the benefits this approach can bring, not least to clients. He is keen to develop opportunities for business growth working with accountants to bring a more holistic service to their clients.

Outside of work, Kristan enjoys spending time with his young family, and when time allows, blowing away the cobwebs with triathlons and mountain bike racing.
