Established in 2003, True Bearing (as they were then known) became part of the Amber River group in 2020. From its head office in Chorley, Lancashire, and with further offices in Altrincham and Stoke-on-Trent, the team provides tailored financial planning services on pensions, investments, financial protection, inheritance tax planning and much more. They rebranded to Amber River True Bearing in October 2023.

Today, George and the team work with more than 7,000 individuals and business clients throughout the North West and beyond. In 2010 it was awarded Chartered status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) – an exclusive title given to only a select group of IFA firms that meet the CII’s highest standards of professionalism and capability.
