Howard joined the financial services industry in 1990 following a career in the automotive industry. He chose the Financial Services sector as he had always had an interest in his own personal financial planning and had been involved in business from a commercial perspective.

For Howard, the most enjoyable aspect of being a Financial Planner has been meeting his many clients and getting to know them. He enjoys seeing them develop as clients, gaining confidence and the understanding as to how financial planning can help them and their families and/or business achieve their goals and financial security.

After running his own Financial Planning business for 17 years, Howard joined the adviser team at True Bearing (now part of Amber River) in 2022. He chose us because we shared his values and could provide him with the larger team support to ensure that his clients continued to receive the high standard of financial advice that they were used to.

Outside of work, Howard enjoys pursuing a healthy lifestyle. In the winter months you might well find him snowboarding or at the gym. However, as soon as warmer weather arrives he will be outside playing golf and riding his motorbike whenever possible!
