Ian joined the team with several years of estate planning experience behind him, and prior to that he spent 14 years working in the NHS in both administrative and governance roles. He was attracted to the role of Legal Intermediary as he has seen first-hand, both personally and professionally, the struggles endured by loved ones who are left behind when no or inadequate legacy planning has been arranged.

The part of the job Ian enjoys most is meeting new clients, getting to know them and their circumstances and finding out what they want to achieve with their legacy planning. He finds it incredibly rewarding when he sees the relief on his clients' faces when they know they’ve got adequate plans in place for them and their loved ones - and that the process was nowhere near as daunting as they were envisaging.

Ian lives in Leyland with his partner and two children. In his spare time, he is a keen gardener and loves growing his own vegetables. He also enjoys family meet-ups to play board games and supports his local football team.
